We are dedicated to assisting individuals, groups and organizations in achieving results.

Elaina Zuker, Founder and President

A seasoned businesswoman, educator, author and consultant, Ms. Zuker has held executive positions in publishing, higher education and communications. As a keynote speaker, she has addressed meetings and conferences in industry, government and professional associations. Her current topics are:

Her newest book, The Seven Secrets of Influence® (McGraw-Hill), the recent Main Selection for the Business Week Book Club, has been translated into four languages. The author of Mastering Assertiveness Skills, The Assertive Manager, Career Success Series and the Day Timers Success Tapes, she has been featured on numerous radio and television talk shows and in many newspaper and magazine articles. Ms. Zuker has created custom publications on personal success for Time Magazine, Money Magazine, Hearst Publications, Hachette Publishing and Times Mirror Publishing. She has served on the faculties of Montclair State College (Division of Business), Mercy College, Pace University, and Marymount College.

As a keynote speaker, she has addressed National and International Associations such as American Society of Association Executives, City Club of San Francisco, Commonwealth Club, Council for Continuous Improvement, Direct Marketing Association, Direct Selling Association, International Association of Business Communicators and the National League of Cities.

Ms. Zuker holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Management/Organizational Development and is the 2004 recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award from New York Polytechnic University.

Niela Miller

Niela is a skilled coach, therapist, trainer, and educator. She offers workshops, coaching, consulting and training to the public and to corporate, non-profit and other entities in many other areas of personal and professional development.

Niela trains trainers, coaches, managers, consultants and educators to develop their creative and emotional intelligences — in their work and their lives. She employs many innovative tools from her background in the arts and humanistic education to help organizations with skills such as team building, giving and receiving feedback, doing peer reviews, recognizing learning and teaching styles, conflict resolution, and stress management in rapid change environments. Her recent book, Workshop Design (McGraw Hill 1998 Sourcebook) is a popular resource for trainers and educational designers.

Niela's academic and professional degrees and accreditations include: BA Creative Arts/ MS Ed & Communications, LCSW (social work) and LMHC (mental health counseling).

Carrie Straub

Carrie Straub has been a line manager, corporate trainer and business coach for over 20 years. She brings energy, creativity and dedication to her practical, idea-filled sessions for real-world workers. Carrie coaches both managers and workers in organizations that range from small manufacturers to large public agencies.

Carrie offers meaty, practical and timely programs on real-world performance management, e-marketing for small businesses, training design, life/work transition and personal coaching which are also the themes for her books and magazine articles. She is a founding member and current Board Secretary for the Portland Chapter of the International Association of Career Management Professionals (IACMP), an adjunct professor at Portland State and Marylhurst Universities. Author of two books, Carrie's workshops are praised for their "star-builder" value.

Carrie received her BS and MBA from City University, Bellevue, WA and a Certificate in Human Resources Development from UC/Berkeley. She has created successful programs for clients such as State of Washington, Chiron Corporation, California Public Utilities Commission, FDIC, Sedgewick Insurance, Bank of America, Alumnae Resources, Int'l. Don Wigal, Ph.D

Don Wigal's doctoral degree (from Columbia Pacific University) is in the psychology of adult education. He taught adult education at Mary Rogers College, as well as academic topics at Antioch College and the University of Dayton. His undergraduate degree was from U. of Dayton. His Masters is from Notre Dame, and doctorate from Columbia Pacific. He has adult education certifications from other academic schools. From the U. of Dayton he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Don has designed many interactive questionnaires and training programs for a variety of populations. He is certified in the use of of the Myers Briggs instrument, and has used and interpreted it in many major corporations, including General Motors, Allied Signal and others.

Don Wigal has written several books in various fields, including four titles in theology for Herder & Herder and over forty encyclopedia articles for HarperCollins. His short works on popular psychology have been published by Simon & Schuster, Doran and Sadlier. He edited for the latter Drug Education for Parents and Teachers. His most recent book, published by Random House, profiles a dozen innovative personalities.
